Volusia County stretches from the St. Johns River across to the Atlantic, and the routes in matter. I-4 runs northeast out of Seminole County through DeBary and Deltona toward DeLand, then meets I-95 as it turns down toward Daytona Beach. US 92, known as International Speedway Boulevard through Daytona, is the spine that carries race traffic from the interstate to the Speedway and on toward the beach. US 1 runs parallel to I-95 through the older downtowns, SR 44 links DeLand east to New Smyrna Beach, and LPGA Boulevard serves the western side of Daytona. The coastal towns, Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach Shores, Ponce Inlet, New Smyrna Beach and Edgewater, each have their own character, and Daytona Beach International Airport sits right beside the Speedway. Blue Spring State Park in Orange City is a winter draw of its own.
Daytona race weekends are the largest single category of work we do here. Speedweeks, the Daytona 500 and the Rolex 24 bring traffic that makes a chauffeured drop off far more practical than parking, and Bike Week and Biketoberfest follow the same pattern later in the year. Beyond racing, DeLand brings Stetson University families for commencement and campus weekends. Beachside bookings cluster around Ormond and New Smyrna for weddings, reunions and long weekends. Airport transfers split between Daytona Beach International Airport for shorter hops and MCO or SFB for anything the smaller airport does not serve. Most of these trips are arranged as one of our charters from Orlando or Sanford.
Long distance trips work best when you tell us the whole shape of the day: the event date, the drop off point you want, and whether the vehicle should stay with you or come back at a set time. For Speedway events, name the gate or the lot you are aiming for, since the approaches differ and a specific drop off point avoids a long walk in race day traffic. For beachside addresses, give us the street and the closest cross street, because several of the beach roads run one way or change names along the way.
